Les Claypool performs with Primus at Brady Theater

Greg Bollinger

On Sunday, September 23, Les Claypool, Larry “Ler” LaLonde, and Tim “Herb” Alexander—collectively known as Primus—performed at Brady Theater. The career-spanning set began with “Those Damned Blue-Collar Tweekers” from the 1991 album Sailing the Seas of Cheese, and included songs from nearly every album the band has released. Midway through the show, the band performed their latest album, 2017’s The Desaturating Seven, in its entirety. The band concluded the set with “Jerry Was a Racecar Driver” before returning for an encore, playing an extended take on “Southbound Pachyderm.”
